I recently stayed at Encosta Do Monte and was blown away by the exceptional level of service and comfort this hotel provided. Despite the language barrier, the staff was incredibly friendly and always available to assist. The room was not only comfortable but also featured a fully equipped kitchen, allowing for occasional cooking—a rare find in my travels. The attention to detail, such as the option to make tea or coffee in the room whenever I pleased, truly exceeded my expectations. Combined with the excellent service from Maria and her team, this was undoubtedly one of the nicest rooms I've experienced in Europe. The convenient location was perfect for exploring both the National Park and the seaside. If you're looking for a standout hotel experience in Portugal, Encosta Do Monte is the place to be.
